Underwater Fine Art & Photography Prints

Ever since I looked underwater with swim goggles I was mesmerized by the difference in the quality of light and to the different varieties of plants to be found under the surface of the water.

I knew I wanted to photograph this unusual world, but there were more obstacles than I imagined.  I had to get used to less-than-crystal-clear images: a shorter distance where things were in focus and a natural murkiness found in ponds and streams. So I learned to embrace the mysterious and slightly spooky environment I found underwater.
